Wh00t! 2 deviations in one week?! I'm on a role! 8D

lol But this is my new draik, well, not new. I've had him for about a month but you know what I mean xD; His name is Ryuujin(003) and if you hadn't guessed it, yup, he's a merdrac :3 I rather like the design but darn was it a monkey to colour. I'm quite pleased with it though ^^ But I think I like the crab more than Ryuujin himself xDD yeah, was asking buddies over msn what I should add on the rocks and all the things you see on the rocks were what they suggested since I was too lazy to thik of things myself |3;

But hazzah! The BEST part of this image has to be the lineart. why you may ask, cuz my good pal was nice enough to offer to outline my sketch for me after I told her I was having trouble with it. She is so kind and totally amazes me with her kickarse linearting and skillz. She needs to share them! Dx -cough- I mean, Thank you, hun! <33 -bows-

Ryuujin will be entangled in the story involving Koadda and Kalulaki cuz I'm lame like that x3 Hopefully will be able to get his petpage up soon. -crosses fingers-

Alohuaki purrs, "Well Hello Handsome... Getting some nice echos off of him... And such a pretty aura..."

I am SO in love with his design. XD Not as "bright" as most Merdracs, but still the nummy.


BTW, random tidbit -- :D Fatal and I made the Merdracs together. I knew most of the information about them back when they were Mardracs from my stories planet of Draconia, but when Fatal wanted a Maraquan Draik but didn't know what to do with her, I suggested Mardrac (which she turned Merdrac) and we worked together on designing and the powers. :3 Which is why, whenever someone tries to make a Merdrac, we both review their pages/designs to see if they are a good, origonal merdrac, and not just someone trying to rip our designs off. XD

Thanks Mindesend! Glad you like him ^^ No where near as unique as Alohuaki's design but I try x3 Seeing as Merdracs are all woah colour! I went I tried to find a nice fishy to inspire me that wasn't too bright. I can never remeber the name of the darn fish I modeled him after, but Twas a nice warmy coloured fishy cuz Panda isn't much of a bright colour person herself :3 Mostly cuz I have trouble giving value to bright colours >w<

And thanks for the history lesson xD You gonna make me throw more into that Credit pool aren't you... >A> Fine. Must give credit where credit is due :3

Thanks Hun ^^ And wow, I guess your right, he does look like a mix of the two xD; Wasn't intentional though, mind you. I was actually alittle iffy about the colours and marking. They were taken off of a fish Aura sent me, whose name fails me right now, but after shading them and such, they don't look half bad. I guess they just need to grow on you x3 -goes to find the name of that darn fish- Thanks again <3
